Many machines have attached computers, either traditional PCs that act as a controller or a data collection point, or an embedded computer that act as a controller. We work on all types, including some laptop repairs.

Computer systems that offer SCADA services to do data collection and manipulation are very often found in a production environment. HMI panels, especially touchscreen embedded controllers are usually single board computers or custom software running on proprietary hardware from the OEM.

We offer support, troubleshooting, and repair of these computer sytems. We recently upgraded a SCADA and HMI control system for a three story laminate press from an old Windows NT server to a new Allen Bradley VersaView rackmount server running Windows XP. We have repaired embedded Windows controllers from Fanuc and Osai, and have provided services to back up data and clone hard drives on all of these systems.

DON'T FORGET! BACKUP YOUR DATA!

Computers have a hard drive that contains it's operating system and data for the particular machine it is on. We see so many factories run into severe problems when their vital equipment goes down. Many times the customer does not have a backup of the part data or the custom OEM-created software to run their machinery. This equipment is very complex and can sometimes take DAYS to build back up from scratch. It can save many headaches if you have a backup of your control.

We can clone the hard drive in your computer, and if it dies, we can put that cloned image onto a new hard drive and get you back up and going FAST, without having to reinstall your system and software.
